Abstract

Abstract: Between 2012 and 2021, Bojonegoro Regency recorded the highest disaster frequency in East Java Province. BPBD data indicates the presence of various hazards, including drought, landslides, forest and land fires, floods, extreme weather, and earthquakes. The area's earthquake potential is linked to active faults in the Kendeng Zone (south) and the Rembang Zone (north), which border Tuban and Blora Regencies. In addition to geological risks, social factors such as non-earthquake-resistant housing, high settlement density, and low public disaster awareness contribute to potential damage. This study aims to analyze the typology of earthquake-prone areas as a reference for disaster mitigation efforts. A qualitative method with spatial analysis is used, integrating physical, social, and geological vulnerability data. The findings indicate that area typology classification plays a crucial role in disaster-resilient spatial planning.

Abstrak: Selama periode 2012–2021, Kabupaten Bojonegoro tercatat sebagai wilayah dengan frekuensi bencana tertinggi di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Berdasarkan data BPBD, jenis bencana yang terjadi meliputi kekeringan, tanah longsor, kebakaran hutan dan lahan, banjir, cuaca ekstrem, dan gempa bumi. Potensi gempa bumi di wilayah ini disebabkan oleh keberadaan sesar aktif di Zona Kendeng (selatan) dan Zona Rembang (utara), yang berbatasan dengan Kabupaten Tuban dan Blora, Jawa Tengah. Selain faktor geologi, aspek sosial seperti bangunan yang tidak tahan gempa, pola permukiman padat, dan rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat turut memperbesar risiko kerusakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tipologi kawasan rawan gempa sebagai acuan mitigasi bencana. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis spasial berdasarkan kerentanan fisik, sosial, dan geologi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa klasifikasi tipologi kawasan dapat menjadi dasar dalam perencanaan wilayah yang adaptif terhadap bencana.
