Authors are strongly encouraged to use plagiarism detection software to check the similarity of their manuscripts before submission. The editors screen submitted manuscripts for similarity using Turnitin software.

Research articles submitted to JPE undergo a double-review process by two expert reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers provide constructive and valuable scholarly feedback aimed at improving the quality, rigour, and overall contribution of the manuscripts.

The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance is made by the Editor, taking into consideration the reviewers' comments and recommendations. The publication of accepted articles, including their order of publication, is determined by the Editor-in-Chief, with due consideration given to the date of manuscript acceptance and the geographical distribution of authors.
