Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the model of work effectiveness and competence of information technology users seen from the website-based information system at the Padang Police. The population in this study were all employees of the Padang Police, which were 468 employees. The sample used in this study was part of the research population, to determine the sample in this study using random sampling technique with the Slovin formula and obtaining a sample of 82 samples. The data analysis technique used a structural equation model with SmartPLS 3. Based on the results of the research analysis, it can be concluded that the website-based information system has a significant effect on the competence of information technology users. The website-based information system has a significant effect on the competence of information technology users. The competence of information technology users has a significant effect on work effectiveness. The website-based information system has a positive and significant effect on work effectiveness through the competence of information technology users. Then the variable of work effectiveness is influenced by the website-based information system and the Quality of Public Services by 0.711 or 71.1%, while the remaining 28.9% percent is influenced by other variables not explained in this study. The quality of public services can be explained by the variable of the work website-based information system of 0.612 or 61.2% and the remaining 39.8% is influenced by other variables that are not in this study.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model dari efektivitas kerja dan kompetensi pengguna teknologi informasi dilihat dari sistem informasi berbasis website pada Polresta Padang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai Polresta Padang  yaitu sebanyak 468 pegawai. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagian dari populasi penelitian, untuk menentukan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling dengan rumus Slovin dan mendapatkan sampel sebanyak 82 sampel.  Teknik analisis data  menggunakan structural equation model dengan SmartPLS 3. Berdasarkan hasil analisis penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem informasi berbasis website berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi pengguna teknologi informasi. sistem informasi berbasis website berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi pengguna teknologi informasi. Kompetensi pengguna teknologi informasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja. Sistem informasi berbasis website berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja melalui kompetensi pengguna teknologi informasi. Kemudian variabel efektivitas kerja dipengaruhi oleh sistem informasi berbasis website dan Kualitas Pelayanan Publik sebesar 0,711 atau 71,1%, sedangkan sisanya 28,9% persen lainnya dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini. Kualitas Pelayanan Publik dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel sistem informasi berbasis website kerja sebesar 0,612 atau 61,2% dan sisanya 39,8% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lain yang tidak ada dalam penelitian ini.
