PERSEPSI SISWA TERHADAP KETAHANAN PANGAN DAN TEKNOLOGI DIGITAL DI ERA DIGITAL

Abstract: This study aims to analyze students’ perceptions of food security and digital technology and to examine the relationship between these variables. The research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational design. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire from 30 students of SMA Negeri 11 Pekanbaru. The results indicate that students demonstrate a high level of perception of food security and a very high level of perception of digital technology. The Pearson correlation test reveals a strong and significant relationship between the two variables, indicating that digital literacy plays an important role in shaping students’ understanding of food security issues. This study contributes to the development of knowledge by highlighting the integration of digital literacy and food literacy as a strategic approach in strengthening food security awareness among students in the digital era.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi siswa terhadap ketahanan pangan dan teknologi digital serta mengkaji hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif korelasional. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala Likert kepada 30 siswa SMA Negeri 11 Pekanbaru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa terhadap ketahanan pangan berada pada kategori tinggi, sedangkan persepsi terhadap teknologi digital berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Uji korelasi Pearson menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang kuat dan signifikan antara kedua variabel, yang mengindikasikan bahwa literasi digital berperan penting dalam membentuk pemahaman siswa terhadap isu ketahanan pangan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan pengetahuan melalui integrasi literasi digital dan literasi pangan sebagai pendekatan strategis dalam meningkatkan kesadaran ketahanan pangan di era digital.
