PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM REMOTE MANAGEMENT OPTICAL NETWORK TERMINAL BERBASIS TECHNICAL REPORT 069 PADA INFRASTRUKTUR INTERNET BUMDES

Abstract: The management of Optical Network Terminals (ONT) in BUMDes-based Internet infrastructure becomes increasingly complex as subscriber and device numbers grow. Manual configuration and troubleshooting may require direct access to customer premises and increase response time. This study develops a web-based remote management system for ONT using Technical Report 069 and an Auto Configuration Server (ACS) as the device-management layer. The system integrates ONT monitoring, WiFi configuration, remote reboot, network information, optical signal monitoring, uptime, connected-client monitoring, and remote troubleshooting into a single operational interface. The development was evaluated through functional scenario testing and observation of device parameters obtained through ACS. The implementation provides status, serial number, OUI, IP/PPPoE, ping, Rx power, temperature, SSID, connected clients, uptime, firmware, and ACS synchronization information, together with remote configuration and control functions. The resulting system abstracts the technical complexity of ACS and provides a practical remote-management interface for BUMDes Internet operations.

Abstrak: Pengelolaan Optical Network Terminal (ONT) pada infrastruktur Internet BUMDes menjadi semakin kompleks seiring bertambahnya jumlah pelanggan dan perangkat. Konfigurasi dan penanganan gangguan secara manual dapat memerlukan akses langsung ke lokasi pelanggan sehingga memperpanjang alur penanganan. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem remote management ONT berbasis web dengan memanfaatkan Technical Report 069 dan Auto Configuration Server (ACS) sebagai lapisan pengelolaan perangkat. Sistem mengintegrasikan monitoring ONT, konfigurasi WiFi, reboot jarak jauh, informasi jaringan, monitoring sinyal optik, uptime, perangkat WiFi terhubung, dan troubleshooting jarak jauh dalam satu antarmuka. Pengembangan dievaluasi melalui pengujian skenario fungsional dan pengamatan parameter perangkat yang diterima melalui ACS. Implementasi mampu menampilkan status ONT, serial number, OUI, IP/PPPoE, ping, Rx Power, temperatur, SSID, perangkat terhubung, uptime, firmware, dan sinkronisasi ACS serta menyediakan fungsi konfigurasi dan kontrol jarak jauh. Sistem menghasilkan lapisan antarmuka operasional yang menyederhanakan pemanfaatan ACS untuk mendukung pengelolaan Internet BUMDes.
