Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mediating role of task crafting in the relationship between online knowledge sharing and employee innovation at the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI) Representative of Riau Province. A sample of 118 respondents was selected using simple random sampling based on the Krejcie and Morgan formula. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results demonstrate that online knowledge sharing has a positive and significant effect on employee innovation (t=2.384; p<0.05) and task crafting (t=19.351; p<0.05). Furthermore, task crafting has a positive and significant effect on employee innovation (t=5.798; p<0.05). The mediation analysis confirms that task crafting acts as a significant mediating variable bridging the influence of online knowledge sharing on employee innovation (t=5.139; p<0.05). These findings indicate that enhancing online knowledge sharing practices can effectively drive employee innovation, both directly and through the reinforcement of task crafting behaviors in the workplace
