PENGARUH BEBAN KERJA, KONFLIK KERJA DAN KESEHATAN MENTAL TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI PADA DINAS LINGKUNGAN HIDUP KOTA TANJUNG BALAI

Abstract: This study was motivated by the importance of improving employee performance at the Environmental Agency of Tanjung Balai City, which is influenced by workload, work conflict, and mental health. The study aimed to analyze the partial and simultaneous effects of workload, work conflict, and mental health on employee performance. This research employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 34 employees selected using a saturated sampling technique and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed the regression equation Y = 6,336 + 0,125X? – 0,066X? + 0,793X?. Partially, workload had a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a t-value of 4.421 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, work conflict had a negative and significant effect with a t-value of -3.338 and a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05, and mental health had a positive and significant effect with a t-value of 18.373 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, workload, work conflict, and mental health significantly affected employee performance, as indicated by an F-value of 165.022 > 2.98 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.937 indicated that 93.7% of employee performance variation could be explained by these variables. This study concludes that effective workload management, proper conflict control, and improved employee mental health are essential to enhancing employee performance optimally and sustainably.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya peningkatan kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Tanjung Balai yang dipengaruhi oleh beban kerja, konflik kerja, dan kesehatan mental. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh beban kerja, konflik kerja, dan kesehatan mental terhadap kinerja pegawai secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 34 pegawai yang dijadikan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persamaan regresi Y = 6,336 + 0,125X? – 0,066X? + 0,793X?. Secara parsial, beban kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan nilai thitung 4,421 dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, konflik kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan dengan nilai thitung ?3,338 dan signifikansi 0,002 < 0,05, serta kesehatan mental berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dengan nilai thitung 18,373 dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan nilai Fhitung 165,022 > Ftabel 2,98 dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,937 menunjukkan bahwa 93,7% variasi kinerja pegawai dapat dijelaskan oleh ketiga variabel tersebut. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan beban kerja, pengendalian konflik kerja, dan peningkatan kesehatan mental pegawai sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai secara optimal dan berkelanjutan.
