This study aimed to determine the effect of implementing the culture-based DALIHAN learning model assisted by Assemblr EDU on students’ creative thinking skills in the biodiversity material for Grade X students at SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar. This study employed a quantitative approach with an experimental method and a quasi-experimental design. The research sample consisted of Grade X-6 as the experimental class and Grade X-9 as the control class, with 36 students in each class. The experimental class was taught using the culture-based DALIHAN learning model assisted by Assemblr EDU, while the control class was taught using conventional learning. The research instrument was a creative thinking skills test. Data were analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests, the Mann-Whitney U test, and the N-Gain test. The results showed that the average creative thinking skills score in the experimental class increased from 45.69 in the pretest to 76.38 in the posttest, while the control class increased from 42.91 to 63.19. The Mann-Whitney U test obtained an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. The N-Gain results showed a value of 0.56 (56.10%) in the experimental class and 0.35 (35.26%) in the control class. Therefore, the implementation of the culture-based DALIHAN learning model assisted by Assemblr EDU had a significant effect on improving students’ creative thinking skills in biodiversity material for Grade X students at SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar.
