MANUSCRIPT TYPES

Jurnal Teknisi (Computer Technology and Information Systems) accepts scientific manuscripts focused on computer technology, software engineering, computer networks, information systems, and other related fields. Submitted manuscripts must be original works, have not been previously published, and are not currently under consideration for publication in any other journal or media.

The types of manuscripts accepted for publication include:

1. Original Research Article

  1. Description: Manuscripts containing original scientific research results related to the application of theories, design, development, or in-depth analysis within the fields of computer technology and information systems. Research may use quantitative, qualitative, or experimental approaches.

  2. General Structure: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Research Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.

  3. Specific Requirements: If the research involves the development of software, systems, or prototypes, the manuscript must include clear system testing/evaluation results to prove the performance and benefits of the built system.

2. System/Software Development Article

  1. Description: Manuscripts focusing on the design and construction of systems, network architectures, web/mobile-based applications, or the implementation of specific algorithms to solve practical problems.

  2. General Structure: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Development Methods/Stages (e.g., Prototype, Waterfall, Agile, etc.), System Design, Implementation and Testing, Conclusion, and References.

3. Review Article (Literature Review)

  1. Description: Manuscripts that present a comprehensive, systematic, and critical review of current developments on a specific topic within computer technology and information systems.

  2. General Structure: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Literature Search Methods (e.g., using SLR / Systematic Literature Review protocols), Analysis and Discussion, and Conclusion.

4. General Manuscript Guidelines:

  1. Manuscript Length: Recommended between 8 to 10 pages (following the official template of Jurnal Teknisi).

  2. Language: Manuscripts can be written in English following proper scientific writing standards.

  3. Formatting: Manuscripts must be prepared using the official template provided by Jurnal Teknisi (using Microsoft Word format).
